Meet Monica Yearwood

Hi, I’m Monica.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of emotional healing, somatic recovery, and relational clarity. I originally trained in Ayurveda — with a specialization in somatic healing — and completed a three-year apprenticeship where I worked hands-on with clients doing emotional release work. That early training shaped the way I understand the body, the nervous system, and the patterns that keep women stuck in painful relationships long after they’ve ended.

I later founded and ran a holistic healing center in Chicago, where I created customized retreats for men and women recovering from relationship burnout, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm. My work has always centered on helping people come back to themselves — not through bypassing or “thinking positive,” but through grounded clarity, nervous-system regulation, and emotional truth-telling.

I’m also a certified trauma recovery coach, and my approach blends nervous-system education, emotional processing, and practical tools that help women rebuild inner steadiness after relational harm.
